Thanks for this much needed article. The story about climate emergency bc. of CO2 being a pollutant is so ridicuously out of sync with everything we know of reality (and what we don't know of "climate") that we need to confront it head on as that what it is: a preposterous lie.

Remember the disappearing ozone layer? “Yes, we world governments have discovered this, but it needs you, the little people to stop spraying your armpits with Chlorofluorocarbons to stop that mess up that’s happening 30km above your heads....”
Step forward 20 years later, “well done all, we spotted it, you did it! Don’t forget to trust us when the next faux climate/ecological disaster comes along! The power is with you and the little things you do. YOU can make the difference! Us elites, we’ll, we’ll just keep raping you, impoverishing you and the planet so we can carry on living our excesses, flying our private jets, and knowingly allowing industry to pollute our water and environment, but not say a word until we’re caught out.”
We know they’ve rigged the results, the temperatures. They’ve been caught doing it enough times. It’s why the hottest, record breaking temperatures always seem to be recorded next to vast, tarmac’d airport runways and built-up heat islands. 🤣
I actually FOId the UK government for any reports or procedures where they had validated and verified the science behind Net Zero (the MMGW bit) to engineering standards to be safe to apply to the public. I mean we have a volumous Water Act for how to maintain safe drinking water, right down to how measurements and calibrations should be made. And let's not get into the numerous standards for all types of engineering.
Even after I requested a review they came back with a link to the IPCC papers. As if a collection of academic theoretical papers and opinions qualifies as validation. If so you would think it would be easy to produce such a report. But no, they do not even see the reason for it.
These people are engaging in what would be called criminal negligence in any other industry. By the same standards Boeing should be flying those 737 MAX 9 planes with doors coming off straight away. They can just produce a vague set of averaged models to say it's safe.
Similarly the unfortunate 346 people killed from the MCAS failure on the MAX 8s should have been just that. The very next day those planes should have been up and out there.
And even with that Boeing planes produce an accurate and precise outcome 99.99% of the time. And are still subjec to all sorts of validation and auditing.
This is the type of cult madness that all politicians engage in.

A friend of mine has a daughter who is a highly qualified meteorologist and she (who should know better) believes in this climate change nonsense presumably because that's what she has been taught all her life and like many of her generation doesn't think or care to question it.

Nor indeed is there formal proof of what is a very straightforward hypothesis, that "CO2 controls temperature". See Feynman, passim, on the matter of hypotheses that real world data disproves.
Warm is good. Humanity thrives. Cold is horrid. In the LIA, one third of the population of Northern Europe perished from famine and disease. Do read Geoffrey Parker's magnum opus on the LIA, "Global Crisis : War, Climate Change and Catastrophe in the Seventeenth Century" in which he shows that the LIA was vile, and not only in Europe.
