How do we know if we are being brainwashed..?
The persistent tug at our strings.
The hardest thing about life is being surrounded by people who have all read the same ‘news’. It’s all too often regurgitated without question. We’re persistently manipulated by information bombardment with agendas aimed to tug our strings. We’re all invited to the same party, so we ignore the music blasting from the other house. Who knows what to think, but we can at least see what they want us to think. Remember how Trump was the evil orange man for building a wall (AKA a country border) and was apparently locking children in cages? Where are the tantrums now that Biden is doing exactly the same thing by reopening a detention centre for illegal migrant children in Carrizo Springs, Texas, having lied that he wouldn't? Silence, because the strings of outrage aren’t being pulled by our MSM controllers.
Does anyone remember Covid, where death tolls were updated daily like football results, and Very Important People behind a cheap yellow lectern demanded we stay in our houses and torch the economy to the ground? Well, according to the media there are now no excess deaths and little need for concern. However, there have been 80,000-90,000 excess U.K. deaths in the eighteen months from February 2022 to August 2023, of which only 10 - 15,000 can be attributed to the covid flu. This means 1,000 excess Brits are dying weekly, a similar rate as during Covid, yet utter silence. MPs failing to attend the Westminster debate on the subject should come as no surprise. Andrew Bridgen stood for all those fallen to an empty house.
The Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda would be proud of the contemporary levels of manipulation. By increasing levels of news media attention to climate change, news can thus influence public concern about climate change (Sampei & Aoyagi-Usui 2009). And they’re not being shy about it. Just as it takes wearing box fresh white trainers to realise how many times people tread on your shoes, once you see the relentless drip-drip feed of the so-called ‘climate crisis’ that the globalist organisations wish us to believe, it’s impossible to unsee it. Yet, calling it out is a dangerous viewpoint, as any dissent is deeply shocking to the accepted wisdom of your neighbours, nose deep in the Times or the Guardian, and results in being denounced, vilified and ostracised.
In 2021, to coincide with the COP26 conference of mostly unelected, self-appointed trough-snorters of climate change, the popular TV soap Eastenders flooded its familiar end credits of how the Thames might appear following a 2m sea level rise. It’s unclear what Phil Mitchell’s hammy bluster might do about it, or indeed any of its viewers, as such a rise would take 2000 years at current levels, but that conveniently wasn't mentioned. It’s like Pontius Pilate being asked to go easy on the grapes so there was some left for us in 2023. Instead viewers were left to run around their house screaming ‘the end is nigh’, running down their thermostats and buying stilts or inflatable dinghies online.
The Eastenders stunt was to ‘encourage discussion’, but once you’ve decided to depict St Pauls sitting in 3 feet of water, it’s evident the only discussion they want involves how many water pails to mass order. Mind you, it appeared to greatly improve Silvertown and Thamesmead. Who devised this hysteria of a stunt? The BBC of course, the same supposedly impartial broadcasting organisation that contemptuously failed to challenge Lockdown, and even reframed the ‘Climate Gate’ scandal of 2009, where leaked emails suggested that scientists had manipulated data to exaggerate the threat of climate change, as disinformation.
Despite 1800 scientists and professionals (inc Nobel prize winners) signing the World Climate Declaration denouncing the modelling used to scare the world into a climate crisis, challenging the ‘settled’ science (settled is an alternative to The ™ science) of manmade climate change invites being called a conspiracy theorist, which as usual plays the man not the argument. And from whom do these insults originate? Sanctioned by Governments of course, with their Misinformation Tsars in the US under Obama and Biden. A Tsar no less, who were so open to liberal reform that it resulted in a Communist revolution in support of the common man, even if it too was destined for authoritarian fascism.
Meanwhile the United Kingdom has its own Online Safety Bill intending to outlaw misinformation. This puts counter-arguments to governmental narrative in the cross hairs of the fact checkers. The Fact Checkers might sound like a 60s band that failed in adapting to the psychedelia of the latter 1960s and found themselves looking like insurance underwriters on a lunch-break amongst the beards, kaftans and swirly circle things, but are actually the new priesthood. Yet, the BBC ‘disinformation specialist’ and fact-checker-in-chief Marianna Spring was caught lying on her CV. The wolf is in charge of the hencoop.
As with Covid, we’re told to follow The ™ science. Following the money might be a better idea. In the 1930s ‘the’ science would have supported phrenology, and the genetic superiority of the Aryan race, so pinning governance to its back might lead you into questionable waters. Besides, was science not characterised by adaptability to answer the dogmatism of religion?
The manmade climate change science is not as settled as the BBC, MSM, etc would have us believe. The Net Zero cult assumes, rather vocally, that humans operate a climate thermostat by burning fossil fuel. The UN-backed Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports that all variation in the climate since 1900 has been caused by humans, and feels about as up for debate as a ten commandment.
However, rather inconveniently (a very inconvenient truth) prodding a stick into the spokes of the UN, a recent Royal Society report found CO2 rise ahead of temperature cannot be scientifically supported since it is clearly shown that temperature precedes CO2 by six or more months. Despite the recent (and optimistic) paper On Hens, Eggs, Temperatures and CO2: Causal Links in Earth’s Atmosphere finding that CO2 rising ahead of temperature cannot be scientifically supported since it’s evident that temperature precedes CO2 by six or more months, it looked like the kid in class who’s hand isn’t high enough to be seen; no one was listening.
The supranational, unelected organisations seemingly have The ™ science and the media in their pockets. As an easily achievable experiment (well if you’ve got 3 spare hours), pick up any of the weekend newspapers and count the proliferation of climate crisis. It appears in all sections of the paper, from the Travel, to Home, to Sport and Finance and of course Culture to the tune of 20+ mentions. After reading ‘climate crisis’ twenty times, it’s hard to mumble much else. Anyone suggesting that it’s bollocks will rattle your world view so carefully curated by the editors, that the challenge will be instinctively dismissed as disinformation. Even if you were interested enough to google Youtube channels that challenge this now baked-in narrative (such as manmade climate sceptic Ivor Cummins) then another browser window automatically takes you to the UN site that ‘educates’ you via The ™ Science that ‘since the 1800s human activities have been the main driver of climate change.’
This is presumably to stop you from finding one simple graph (Dansgaard et al., 1969; Schonwiese 1995) that counters all their arguments. It would appear that the industrial revolution of the Holocene period has been kept as quiet as the Roman and medieval ones.
You won’t see that in the newspapers interested only in reporting global temperatures from 1850, which is akin to reviewing Elvis’ career based entirely upon his increasingly hapless film making from 1960 onwards.
We have newspapers uncritically repeating UN reports forecasting more extreme storms, heatwaves and floods, threatening food supplies and wreaking destruction on the natural world, despite food production increasing due to higher Co2, and that fatalities from natural disasters actually declining since 1900 .
At what point will people stop passively accepting the drip-feed and wonder if we’re being played? That the agenda is to curb our lives styles and increase control over our lives in favour of polar bears, who have proliferated in numbers, and consequently utterly failed in their job as poster boys to illustrate that the era of global warming has ended, and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, as the UN secretary general António Guterres (remember voting for him?) declared with levels of hyperbole last seen when the Titanic was declared unsinkable.
Against the better judgement to quote a Guardian columnist, Natalie Nougayrède wrote that “the use of propaganda is ancient, but never before has there been the technology to so effectively disseminate it.” One can only presume that she thinks she’s the answer to the problem, rather than part of the problem itself, as her entire industry fails to inquire where it should be.
